In 2012…

In 2012, Seth and Lauren (along with some amazing friends), created Hilarity for Charity. They later established the Hilarity for Charity Fund as part of the Alzheimer’s Association, through which monies raised are directed to help families struggling with Alzheimer’s care, increase support groups nationwide, and fund cutting edge research. Since its inception, Hilarity for Charity has raised more than $6.5 million to support these efforts.

Performances and appearances by Paul Rudd, Bruno Mars, Tenacious D, Patton Oswalt, Aziz Ansari, Judd Apatow, The Backstreet Boys, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Hart, Mindy Kaling, James Franco, Miley Cyrus and more have helped make the events stand out in the Alzheimer’s community and gain attention from around the world.

HFC U & Other Programs

HFCU and Other Programs

In 2014, HFC expanded by launching HFC U, a nationwide program that encourages and supports college organizations to throw their very own HFC event. To date, HFC U’s more than 230 schools have raised over $250,000 to support Hilarity for Charity! Find out more about HFC U.

Through HFC U and other successful programs and events, such as HFC Presents and events in New York and Montreal, we have established ourselves as a force in the Alzheimer’s and comedy communities.
