Grant Program

The HFC In-Home Care Grant provides exceptional in-home care relief to families affected by Alzheimer's, giving the primary caregiver support, rest and respite.

Hilarity for Charity and the Home Instead Senior Care network are working together to provide much-need relief to those serving as caregivers to their loved ones living with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias.

Together, we give the family caregivers we serve the ability to do important things like continue to work, grocery shop, go to medical appointments, or even take a moment to themselves. We've learned that caregivers are the strongest when cared for themselves.

Hilarity for Charity is proud to have awarded over 250,000 hours of in-home respite care across the United States and Canada.

While there isn't a cure, there is care.

Hear from of a few of our grant recipients below and learn how the HFC Home Care Grant changed their lives.

“I cannot begin to tell you how much this grant has meant to me..The gift of this treasured grant allows me some rest each week, and/or time to run errands. When our caregiver arrives, I am able to leave with peace of mind..Thanks from the bottom of my heart for providing funds for our 'angel' each week.”

“The words Thank You just don’t seem to be enough to express my heartfelt appreciation. I have barely been out of Sue's sight, since 2006. Our world has shrunk to the size of her bedroom and bath with conversation from babbling to hysteria. Please accept my total gratitude, for the chance to join humanity again.”
